Term 1 assignment

1a.Thailand

1b.

Thailand's population is 67,085,000.Thailand has a population growth rate of 0.653%. The births for Thailand is 13.01 births per 1000people.Death rate is 6.47per 1000 people. The sex ratio of Thailand is 1.045males/female at birth, 1.05males/females under 15 years old, 0.98 males/females under 65, o.82males/females for 65 years and over. This makes the total population 0.98males/females[2010 est].

There will be too little children to replace the elderly. If this pattern continues, there will be a negative population growth. There won't be enough people to replace the previous generation. There is a maximum number of males between 30to34 and a maximum number of females between 35-39.

The population of Vancouver (the city i researched on) is much smaller than the population of Thailand. Thailand's population is 67 million, while Vancouver's population is only 2 million.

    Nothing interesting about it.. :p

The population pyramid shape is beehive.

There are too few children to replace the elderly in Thailand. This shows that there is low birth rate and high death rate. If this pattern continues, Thailand will suffer the consequences of negative population growth. (there will not be enough children to replace the elderly people).

    Samsam :D
